Spectacular Christmas Celebration
Christmas Lights
for Underprivileged Children
"Christmas Lights" was conceived as a charity action aimed to serve underprivileged children of our region during the Holiday season. Over the past ten years this compassion project has escalated into a major charity program fueled by the collaboration between the corporate giants, small business owners, and community leaders. This event is a "one- night celebration" that makes a lasting difference in lives of children in-need. It breaks the grip of poverty by reassuring the children that they are worthy of love, care, and a chance for happiness despite the economic and personal hardships

Annual Russian-Speaking Community Partners Capitol Reception
The Annual Russian-Speaking Community Capitol Reception is a milestone that shows the progressing relationship between the Slavic community and members of the legislature. Each year, we strive to break away from old stereotypes that hinder Slavic Californians from actively engaging in civic activities within their communities. The reception helps to reassure our people that California policymakers do not relate to our local Russian-speaking community solely through politics. It took us years to break the stereotypes that Slavic people held about their government, and now we aim to preserve this fragile trust and encourage more civic engagement.
