"Christmas Lights" was conceived as a charity action aimed to serve underprivileged children of our region during the Holiday season. Over the past ten years this compassion project has escalated into a major charity program fueled by the collaboration between the corporate giants, small business owners, and community leaders. This event is a "one- night celebration" that makes a lasting difference in lives of children in-need. It breaks the grip of poverty by reassuring the children that they are worthy of love, care, and a chance for happiness despite the economic and personal hardships

Population Served
Over the past years, Christmas Lights has benefited over 2,100 children from local non-profit organizations such as St. John's Shelter, Sacramento Children's Home, Sacramento NativeAmerican Health Center, Roseville Home Start, Volunteers of America, United MethodistChurch, Women's Empowerment, Center for Fathers and Families, P. E. E. C. E. Keepers, as well as African-American, Asian and Slavic families that live below the poverty level.
Event description
Children from the above stated organizations enjoy a remarkable holiday program,festive dinner, a personalized present, and a limousine tour around the most spectacular Holiday Lights in the region. For some of the participants this event is the only chance they get to share the excitement of the Holiday season. Event Highlight: At the end of the program, each child receives a valuable and age appropriate Christmas gift. This compassionate and generous charity event allows kids to experience care and personal appreciation of them from our larger community.
